Disney Marvel

We celebrated 80 years of Marvel Comics this week by teaming up with Books on the Underground to leave rare comics on tubes, trains and buses around the country for people to find and read about the origins of the Marvel Universe.
Comics featuring characters including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Thor, Hulk and Iron Man are being left on public transport throughout the next month with influential storylines including the first appearance of Spider-Man, the first same-sex marriage in X-Men and the introduction of Black Panther in 1966. The movement celebrates the influence of Marvel Comics on pop culture and has been front page national and international news this week, and even getting noticed and shared by J.A.R.V.I.S himself.
