Home-cooked meals, takeaways, movie marathons and Zoom dates were some of the top ways couples spent their day, with half of people shopping online for Valentine’s Day presents this year, a trend that is up 572% over ten years.
And while the pandemic might have stopped many seeing their loved ones in real life, one in five have managed to find a relationship online over the past 12 months with walks in the park the top first date for new matches.
The findings were turned into Mastercard adverts and assets with the story landing in multiple countries around the world.
